The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS CRP PO/MT-XVI Recruitment 2026 Notification for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO)/Management Trainees (MT) in participating Public Sector Banks for vacancies of 2027-28. Eligible graduates can submit their online applications through the official IBPS website from 1st July 2026 to 21st July 2026. The selection process includes the Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Personality Test, and Interview.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (As on 21.07.2026)
- Candidates must possess a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- The final result must have been declared on or before 21.07.2026.

Application Fees
The application fee must be paid online between 01.07.2026 and 21.07.2026:
- SC / ST / PwBD Candidates: Rs. 175/- (Inclusive of GST)
- All Other Categories: Rs. 850/- (Inclusive of GST)
Selection Process
The selection process is a three-tier system:
- Online Preliminary Examination: 100-mark objective test containing English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability (Separately timed for 20 minutes each).
- Online Main Examination: Consists of Objective tests (200 marks) and a Descriptive Paper (25 marks for Essay and Comprehension).
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated via a Common Interview process carrying 100 marks.

- 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- No negative marking for unanswered questions.
