Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility conditions to apply for IBPS SO Recruitment 2026.
Nationality
A candidate must be:
- A Citizen of India, or
- A Subject of Nepal, or
- A Subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma (Myanmar), Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Candidates belonging to categories other than Indian citizens must possess a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit (As on 01 July 2026)
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years
Note: Candidates should have been born between 02 July 1996 and 01 July 2006 (both dates inclusive).
