IOCL Guwahati Refinery Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Guwahati Refinery has released the official notification for the engagement of 102 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 (as amended). Eligible candidates can apply online through the NAPS/NATS Portal and complete the application process by submitting the mandatory Microsoft Form before the last date.

 

Candidates holding Class 12, ITI, Diploma, B.Sc., B.A., or B.Com qualifications in the relevant discipline are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications from a recognized Board/University/Institute:

  • Class XII Pass
  • ITI (Fitter)
  • Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline
  • B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Industrial Chemistry)
  • B.A.
  • B.Com.

Candidates must have obtained the prescribed minimum qualifying marks as mentioned in the official notification.

Age Limit (as on 30.06.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 24 Years (For General/EWS)
  • Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates as per Government guidelines.

Selection Process

  • No Written Test / Interview: Selection will be strictly based on the percentage of marks in descending order obtained in the prescribed qualifying examination.  
  • Tie-Breaker: In case of identical percentages, the candidate senior by age will be ranked higher. If the date of birth is also the same, matriculation marks will be compared.
