IBPS PO Admit Card 2026 – Main Exam
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS PO Admit Card 2026 for the Online Main Examination under CRP PO/MT-XVI. Candidates who qualified in the Preliminary Examination can now download their IBPS PO Main Admit Card 2026 from the official IBPS website.
The IBPS PO/MT-XVI recruitment is being conducted for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) / Management Trainees (MT) in participating public sector banks for vacancies of 2027–28.
The IBPS PO Main Examination 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on 4 October 2026. Candidates should download their call letter and carefully check the examination date, reporting time and examination centre details mentioned on it.

Exam Details & Rules
- Descriptive Test Mode: Candidates must type their answers (Essay and Comprehension) using the computer keyboard within the allotted 30 minutes. Note that no spellcheck facility is provided.
- Negative Marking (Penalty for Wrong Answers): In the objective test, each incorrect answer attracts a penalty of one-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question. Unattempted questions carry no penalty.
- Sectional & Overall Cut-offs: Candidates are required to score above the minimum qualifying mark in each test individually as well as secure a minimum total aggregate score to be shortlisted for the Personality Test and Interview.
- Compensatory Time: Eligible PwBD/PWSD candidates receive 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour of examination (totaling 60+ minutes across the session).
Documents to Carry to the Examination Centre
1. Online Examination Call Letter (Admit Card): A printed copy with a recent passport-size photograph firmly pasted in the designated space.
2. Additional Photograph: At least one additional passport-size photograph (identical to the one uploaded during registration and affixed to the admit card).
3. Valid Photo Identity Proof (Original): Must be currently valid, bearing the exact same name as printed on the call letter and application form. Accepted photo IDs include:
- PAN Card
- Passport
- Permanent Driving License
- Voter’s Card with photograph
- Bank Passbook with photograph
- Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer or People’s Representative on official letterhead
- Recognized College/University Identity Card
- Aadhaar Card / E-Aadhaar with photograph (recommended for biometric authentication)
- Employee ID / Bar Council Identity Card with photograph
4. Photocopy of the Photo ID Proof: A clear photocopy of the same photo ID you are carrying in original (to be stapled with the admit card and submitted to the invigilator).
5. Special Requirement for Main Examination Candidates: The authenticated / stamped Preliminary Examination Call Letter along with the authenticated copy of the Photo ID proof from the Prelims exam.

- You will be redirected to the official IBPS website.
- Enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth as required.
