UCO Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27
UCO Bank has released an official notification for the engagement of apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for the financial year 2026-27. A total of 530 apprentice vacancies have been announced across various States and Union Territories, including Assam.
Eligible candidates who have completed graduation on or after 1 April 2022 can apply through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and complete the additional application and examination fee process through BFSI SSC. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements specified in the official advertisement as on 1 October 2026.
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university or an institution approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
- The candidate must have completed graduation and possess the relevant mark sheets and provisional or final degree certificate issued on or after 1 April 2022.
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years (for UR/EWS candidates)
- SC / ST: 5 years (up to 33 years)
- OBC (NCL): 3 years (up to 31 years)
- PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Widows / Divorced Women: Up to 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST
- Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding at least one local language of the State/UT applied for.
- Candidates presenting 10th or 12th standard mark sheets/certificates showing they studied the local language are exempted from the language test.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are pursuing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 are not eligible.
- Candidates who have 1 year or more of job experience or training after graduation are not eligible.
Stipend & Training Period
The apprenticeship training will last for one year from the date of the apprenticeship contract.

Selection Process & Examination Pattern
Selection is based on an Online Entrance Examination conducted remotely by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC) using the candidate’s camera-enabled PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
