Assam SLRC Recruitment 2026
The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) for Class-III Posts, Assam, has released an official notification for the recruitment of 72 Field Assistant (Statistics)/Enumerator under the centrally sponsored scheme “Integrated Sample Survey (ISS)” under the Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Assam.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification
For direct recruitment to the post of Field Assistant (Statistics)/Enumerator, a candidate must have:
A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in any subject, with at least one of the following subjects at the graduate level:
- Statistics
- Economics
- Mathematics
- Social Science
- Sociology
- Psychology
OR
- A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with 50% marks in Mathematics at 12th standard.
Language Proficiency: Must have studied both English and at least one local language (Assamese, Bengali, or Bodo) as subjects in HSLC (Class 10).
Computer Proficiency: Must possess a valid Computer Course Certificate of a minimum of 6 (six) months duration from a government-recognized institute and comfort in data entry via handheld devices.
