NIACL Apprentice Recruitment 2026
The New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) has released the official notification for the engagement of 550 Apprentices under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). Eligible graduates can apply online from 23 June 2026 to 6 July 2026. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,300 during the 12-month apprenticeship training.

Eligibility Criteria (As of June 1, 2026)
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India.
- Experience Profile: Must be a fresher with no prior apprenticeship or training experience anywhere.
- Educational Qualification: Must hold a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Note: The final year graduation mark sheet/passing certificate must be issued between 01.01.2022 and 01.06.2026 (inclusive). Candidates who completed graduation before or after these dates are not eligible.
Age Limit :
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years (As of 01.06.2026)
- Candidates must have been born between 02.06.1996 and 01.06.2005 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxations:
- SC / ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Widows / Divorced Women: Up to 35 years for Gen/EWS, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST.

2. Regional Language Test :
- Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in at least one local language of the applied state.
- Exemptions: Candidates who provide a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet proving they studied the local language do not need to take this test. For others, the language test will be conducted during Document Verification.

What is the monthly stipend provided during the training?
Selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend of ₹12,300 per month. No other allowances or monetary benefits will be paid.
What is the duration of the apprenticeship training?
The period of apprenticeship engagement is exactly 12 months (one year).
Does this training lead to permanent employment in NIACL?
No. This is purely an apprenticeship training program under the Apprentices Act, 1961. It is not an employment contract, and the apprentice has no right to claim regular or permanent employment in the company during or after the training period.
How will the exam be conducted? Do I need to go to an exam center?
The written test is an online exam scheduled for July 12, 2026. You will take the exam using your own camera-enabled desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone from your home or a suitable location. You must follow the strict proctoring guidelines provided by the exam agency.
