Central Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Central Bank of India (CBI) has released an official notification for the engagement of Apprentices for the Financial Year 2026-27. A premier Public Sector Bank established in 1911, Central Bank of India is inviting online applications from eligible graduate candidates.

  • Monthly Stipend: ₹15,000/- per month (Note: Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits).
 

Eligibility Criteria (As of 31.05.2026)

Candidates must ensure they fulfill the following eligibility norms as of the cut-off date, 31.05.2026:  

Educational Qualification :

  • Must possess a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University.  
  • Crucial Condition: Candidates must have completed their graduation on or after 01.01.2022 onwards.  
Age Limit : 
  • Minimum Age: 20 Years  
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years  
  • Candidates must have been born between 31.05.1998 and 31.05.2006 (both days inclusive).  
 
Age Relaxation :
Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines:  
  • SC/ST: 5 years  
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years  
  • PwBD: 10 to 15 years (depending on category)  
  • Widows/Divorced Women (Unremarried): Up to 35 years for Gen/EWS, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST.  
Local language proficiency: Candidates applying for training seats in a specific state must be fully proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding at least one of the designated local/official languages of that state. For Assam: Assamese, Bengali and Bodo

Selection Process

The selection process for the Central Bank of India Apprenticeship consists of two phases:  

  • Online Objective Examination
  • Local Language Proficiency Test (Candidates who produce a 10th or 12th standard marksheet/certificate showing they studied the opted local language are exempted from the language test).  

Online Exam Pattern

The test will consist of 100 objective questions carrying 100 marks with a total duration of 60 minutes. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

How to Apply for CBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 ?

Candidates must follow a mandatory two-step online registration process:  

 

Step 1: Government Portal Registration

  1. Visit the official MHRD NATS portal: nats.education.gov.in.  
  2. Navigate to the “Student Register/Login” section and complete your registration.  
  3. Keep a safe record of your system-generated Enrolment ID.  

 

Step 2: Final Application & Fee Payment

  1. Once registered on NATS, you will receive an email reminder from BFSI SSC (info@bfsissc.com).  
  2. Click the link provided or visit beep.bfsissc.com to complete the final application.  
  3. Fill in your caste category, select your preferred training districts, upload required documents, and pay the online application fee.  
  4. Take a clean printout of your system-generated final application form for document verification.
