Candidates found medically unfit during the DME may be given an opportunity to appear for a Review Medical Examination (RME), as per the applicable recruitment rules.

Merit List and Final Selection

Candidates who qualify in all stages—RFID Based Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Computer Based Test (CBT) / Trade Skill Test, and the Medical Examination—will be placed on the Merit List.

The Merit List is drawn up based on the available trade and category-wise vacancies outlined in the official notification.

Merely qualifying in all the physical, written, skill, and medical tests does not guarantee final selection into the Assam Rifles. Final selection is strictly based on the candidate’s position in the Merit List in relation to the availability of vacancies against their respective category and trade.

Call for Training: Instructions to join the Training Centre for official enrolment will be issued exclusively on the basis of this Final Merit List.
