RRB Group D Recruitment 2026
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the Group D Recruitment to fill various Level-1 posts in Indian Railways. It is one of the largest government job recruitments in India and provides opportunities for candidates who have passed Class 10 or ITI. Thousands of vacancies are released across different railway zones, and selected candidates are appointed to technical and support positions in the railway system.
The RRB Group D Recruitment 2026 is expected to invite applications for multiple Level-1 posts under the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix. The initial salary for all these posts is ₹18,000 per month under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Level-1). In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will also receive allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits as per railway rules.
Qualifications
To apply for RRB Group D Recruitment, candidates must meet the educational qualification criteria set by the Railway Recruitment Board for Level-1 posts in Indian Railways.
Minimum Qualification :
Candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognized board such as Central Board of Secondary Education, Board of Secondary Education, Assam, or any other recognized board.
Alternative Qualification :
Candidates who have the following qualifications are also eligible:
- ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate from a recognized institute.
- National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

Important :
- Candidates must be physically fit in all respects.

Application Fee
Candidates applying for RRB Group D Recruitment conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board must pay the prescribed application fee while submitting the online application for posts in Indian Railways.

Important :
- The application fee can be paid through online payment methods such as debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Important:
- Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAA) trained in Railway Establishments and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from PET.
- PwBD candidates as specified in the notification are also exempted from PET.
