The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has released multiple recruitment notifications on 5 December 2025 and 12 December 2025 to fill 2,350 vacancies in various departments. These include Assam Police, Assam Police Radio Organisation (APRO), Fire & Emergency Services, Forest Department, Prison Department, and Assam Commando Battalions.
The recruitment covers several posts such as Constable (Armed and Unarmed Branch), Sub-Inspector (Armed and Unarmed Branch), Driver Constable, Sub-Inspector of Police (Communication), Station Officer, Squad Commander, Assistant Jailor, Safai Karmachari, and other equivalent positions.
